There was no shortage of sunshine in Southern California as hot rod enthusiasts from around the globe gathered in Del Mar for the 16th Annual Goodguys Nationals. The event took place at the famous Del Mar Fairgrounds where over 2,600 hot rods of all years up to 1972 gathered for a 3-day event April 1st-3rd. The car show featured many events and exhibits, including a dragster exhibition, swap meet, live music, and most importantly, the Goodguys AutoCross.
As always, Goodguys Columbus brought together the best-of-the-best autocross competitors. Not only were drivers dodging cones, they were dodging raindrops as well.
Beautiful weather and even more beautiful cars is the norm for the Goodguys Meguiar’s 15th Del Mar Nationals. The autocross event, and its drivers, have reached celebrity status as security is required to keep the huge crowd clear for competitors to enter and exit the track.
