Round 4 for the Trans Am Series at Lime Rock was an unexpected bonus addition to the Ultimate Performance schedule. After attending Round 3 at Road Atlanta, JJ was asked to Lime Rock to lend support to a number of teams in the TA, TA2 and TA3 Classes. The car count was strong with 49 total entries.

After attending Round 3 at Road Atlanta, JJ was asked to Lime Rock to lend support to a number of teams in the TA, TA2 and TA3 Classes. The car count was strong with 49 total entries.

Ernie Francis, Jr. won the TA3A division, part of the TA3 class.

TA Class (13 entries)
Claudio Burtin (Burtin Racing) qualified seventh but had to start last after flat-spotting his tires during the qualifying session. A clutch failure eventually ended his day early.

TA2 Class (24 entries)
Cope Chassis and Wilwood Disc Brakes swept the first five finishing position in the TA2 Class. Adam Andretti (ECC Motorsports) qualified on the pole for the TA2 race and finished sixth overall.

TA3 Class (12 entries)
Ernie Francis, Jr. (Breathless Racing) qualified on the pole for the TA3 race, won the TA3A division and finished second overall in the TA3 Class. JJ made shock adjustments to his car to fix a tight condition through the low-speed corners of the track.
